On this page you can see Ringo, Maya’s best friend, for the first time. I know for some hard sci-fi- and superhero-readers the appearance of a teddy can be a little confusing… but it will make sense in the end. Believe me

what i mean by “doing a jk rowling” is .. killing off the characters that you learn to love .. she did a big character massacre (thats what i call it) in her last book .. oh, the humanity!!! lol Its 7 books and you get attached to the characters … and yes she killed my favorite .. Chapter 4 The Seven Potters..i went through the 5 stages of grief ..seriously ..lol
BUT, i wish you all the best and MAYA .. with a bit of luck (wish i can make those liquid luck potion they make in Hogwarts) who knows ..maybe you and your comic will be the next best thing .. It can happen

Hi, Chris. I read through the pages you posted at Newsarama. I owe you an apology. I didn’t realize until I scrolled to the bottom of the page that you were a professional who had done TALES FROM THE CRYPT. So if my comments seem a little harsh, I am so sorry. But I tried to be extremely honest.
Anyway, I love your art (even though I do think your dialogue needs some work). Hope you won’t hold it against me. Keep me posted on your work; you’re obviously very talented and I like your ideas!

Unfortunately I’m not a native speaker. I’ll think about a dialog rework for the print editions later down the road and of course I’m trying to make the new text for upcoming pages better.
